richest black person in the world

We quite know that there are a couple of Nigerians who are actually or probably richer than him, but guess why he's called Nigeria's richest man by Forbes and has been listed on Forbes billionaire list 3 years in a row - Beacause his wealth is verifiable or would I say transparent.
It is not much a recent gist, but Aliko Dangote is the richest man in Nigeria based on chain of family business which he manages called the Dangote Group.
Aliko Dangote first entered Forbes rich list in 2008 and was listed with a net worth of $3.3BN which probably made him for a while the richest black man, being richer than Oprah Winfrey. This was due to the fact that he took sugar factory to the NSE, for listing, in 2007.
Although Dangote's worth has reduced a little to currently the 463rd richest person in 2010, he has still remained on the list of world billionaires based on US dollars. This may be due partly to the global recession and the huge fall in stock prices OF Dangote Sugar.
The Dangote group is virtually in anything and everything that propels the Nigerian economy, spreading its tentacles across the Construction, Logistics, Food, Real estate and Oil and Gas industries.
One of the recent major investment by Dangote is the Obajana cement factory cement factory by 2010 which is yet to be completed and has suffered a slow down and investors are eagerly awaiting an IPO for this investment.
The Forbes list may not be able to tell us exactly who the richest Nigerians are but based on their reputation and highly efficient research methods, their report onNigeria's richest man is worth considering.
but in 2011 he became the richest black person with networth of $13.8 billion.
