Thailand aims to set 'Kissathon' world record

Nine couples in Pattaya, Thailand are out to set the longest kiss in the Guinness Book of World Records in an annual spectacle that began yesterday.

The competition, which coincides with Valentine's Day on February 14, will see contestants endeavouring to keep their lips locked even when they go on their bathroom breaks after the first six hours of kissing. The record up for grabs: 50 hours 25 minutes and one second.

Since lips must not even part when the contestants are drinking, they can only drink water or milk using a straw. According to the organiser, the only way contestants will be able to break the bizarre record was if they were madly in love because “the smell of their breath would probably be quite something.”

The record-setting couple will win more than 200,000 Thai baht (6,700 USD) and a diamond ring for their efforts. i will them Goodluck.hehehe
