Katy Perry cosies up to former presidents George W. Bush and Bill Clinton as she takes to the stage at charity gala following split from boyfriend John Mayer
But Katy Perry showed little sign of heartbreak as she took to the stage at the 2015 Starkey Hearing Foundation So The World May Hear Gala on Sunday evening.
Performing at the St. Paul RiverCentre in Minnesota. Katy looked beautiful in a full-skirted ballgown as she entertained a star-studded crowd, which included former US Presidents Bill Clinton and George W. Bush.
Katy posed with the US politicians at the bash, posting a photo to her Instagram account which sees her in between Bush and Clinton in a stunning gown with gem-embellished straps.
The popstar joked about her presidential ambitions in the caption, writing: '42, 43, 46?!'
Later in the evening Katy showed off her curves in a stunning tulle gown, which featured a shimmering rainbow colour scheme and a huge skirt as she performed for the VIP guests.
The star kept her accessories to a minimum to allow the strapless number to take centre stage, adding a cocktail ring and matching flower earrings.
Her dark locks were swept back into an elegant up do, while gold eyeshadow and a metallic manicure finished off her stage ensemble.
The chart-topper was joined by a full band and backing singers as she entertained guests at the charity gala, belting out her hit songs.
The hearing-aid company hosts an annual black-tie gala which raises millions to outfit children in Third World countries with free hearing aids.
In 2014, the gala raised nearly $9 million to support hearing health programs and charitable initiatives.
While Katy was happy to pose with fellow VIP guests inside the event, the Star Tribune claim she refused to answer questions on the red carpet after arriving around 30 minutes after the other guests.
Her gala performance comes amid reports over the weekend that she has split from Mayer for a fourth time.
According to E! News, the 30-year-old pop diva and the 37-year-old bluesman mysteriously called it quits just three weeks after spending the July Fourth holiday together in Chicago.
The lovebirds - who rekindled their famously Hot and Cold romance in January - seemed very much together as they attended the Grateful Dead's farewell concert at Soldier Field.
